At the opening of the event, the host gave a detailed introduction to the overall agenda, the team of TCM specialists, as well as the fun interactive sessions.
All CONSMOS family members joined in an invigorating tapping exercise, following the tutorial to pat acupoints across different parts of the body for daily relief and relaxation. Everyone kept in perfect unison as they moved along with the rhythm.
Laughter filled the venue during the fun portrait guessing game. Participants identified their colleagues based on avatars and written clues. This lighthearted activity helped everyone discover unique shining traits of their teammates, bridged gaps between colleagues, boosted friendly communication, and fostered a harmonious and warm team atmosphere.
A wellness message wall for consultation was set up on site. Staff could freely write down highlights of team development and suggestions for improvement, building a warm two-way communication channel between the company and employees. A points reward system was also implemented to make health sharing and team communication more engaging and enjoyable, driving extremely high participation enthusiasm among all attendees.
The event specially invited Xing Nianguo, one of the first batch outstanding TCM talents in Yimeng and a physician from Linyi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, to deliver a special lecture on health preservation. Targeting common workplace health issues including irregular schedules, heavy internal dampness and long hours of desk work, he shared easy-to-follow home conditioning therapies. Combining employees’ daily work and living habits, he offered practical advice on diet and daily routine adjustment, helping all staff establish a scientific health concept of disease prevention and early physical conditioning.
Upon the conclusion of the special lecture, two experience zones — TCM consultation and herbal handcraft — opened simultaneously, attracting an extremely high turnout of participants.
The consultation zone delivered one-stop TCM health services, including one-on-one pulse diagnosis and facial consultation, professional acupuncture and tuina massage. These treatments effectively alleviated prevalent physical discomforts such as cervical and shoulder strain, lumbago and back pain, blood and qi imbalance, and poor sleep quality.
In response to various physical concerns raised by staff, the TCM specialists patiently answered every question one by one, sharing practical wellness tips and daily solutions to relieve bodily discomfort.
The herbal DIY zone also drew huge crowds. Participants freely selected various herbal materials for mosquito repellent, soothing nerves and refreshing the mind to make traditional Chinese medicine sachets that ease physical fatigue. Mugwort hammer making experience was also available on site. The self-made mugwort hammers can be used to tap shoulders and necks daily, effectively relieving muscle soreness caused by prolonged sitting. While creating handicrafts by hand, everyone got an up-close experience of the unique charm of traditional Chinese medicine.
